ABOUT RAWANG BADMINTON CLUB

RBC was formerly known as the Jaguh Gemilang Badminton Club. It was founded in 2000 by a group of Rawang teachers and student who is passionate about badminton started playing on a weekly basis at the Duta Palms Resort (the resort has been transformed to Ivory). Within two years, RBC actively participated in numerous friendly matches against other clubs. RBC's proudest achievement has to be the Rawang Open Tournament which is held annually. The club started collaborating with schools and academies to develop junior badminton players. In 2015, RBC participated in the Junior Challenge Cup, and in 2016, RBC was part of the Junior Purple League.
